Generational difference is a powerful framework for discussing what binds some individuals together in the workplace and what drives others apart. This conversation gives participants an understanding of what shaped the influences, values, and behaviors of different generations and provides strategies for communicating across potential barriers.

Module Description:

Our conversation will delve into the Traditionalist, Baby Boomer, Generation X, and Millennial generations, discussing the major events that shaped them and identifying ways their values appear in the workplace. Through genuine curiosity and a desire to understand, we will develop a deeper appreciation for generation diversity and its benefit in the workplace.

Café Conversations are interactive group sessions that use the power of inquiry to uncover the collective wisdom of larger, diverse communities on meaningful topics. Café Conversations demonstrate the value of creating safe, brave forums where people can build relationships, share ideas, solve organizational challenges, act on opportunities, and work to establish a community of trust.
